How it works

Non-EU nationals visiting the Schengen area visa-free may stay at most 90 days within any 180-day period. The rule is a rolling window, not a calendar reset: on every single day of a stay, the total of all your Schengen days during the preceding 180 days must not exceed 90.

Add each past and planned trip with its entry and exit dates — both count as full days regardless of arrival time. The calculator checks every day of your history against the rolling window, shows days used and remaining today, flags any overstay, and tells you the earliest date you can re-enter.

The 90/180 rolling window

For each day D:
DaysUsed(D) = count of Schengen days in [D − 179, D]
Compliant ⇔ DaysUsed(D) ≤ 90 for every day of presence

Entry and exit days both count as full days in Schengen. The window “rolls” forward one day at a time — days older than 180 days drop out and free up allowance.
