Privacy policy

The short version

EuropeCalculators is built to know as little about you as technically possible. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser: the salaries, incomes, dates and budgets you enter are never transmitted to our servers, never stored and never shared. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data — because we don’t have any.

What we collect

Calculator inputs — nothing

All calculators are client-side applications. Values you type exist only in your browser’s memory and disappear when you close the tab. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to link any input to you.

Server logs — minimal and technical

Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and defend against abuse. This data is processed on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used to build profiles.

Newsletter — only if you opt in

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address solely to send it, on the legal basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Every email contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your address.

Cookies and local storage

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. The only browser storage we use is a single local-storage key remembering your light/dark theme preference — it never leaves your device and identifies nothing about you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data. Since we hold essentially no personal data about visitors, most requests are satisfied by design — but you can always reach us at hello@europecalculators.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce features that change our data practices, we will update this page and its “last updated” date before they go live.
